Below are the answers to frequently asked questions. Please note that “La Ribaute” refers to the site, which is part of Eschaton Foundation.

How much does the Foundation charge?

For a 2h45 visit: full price 29€ / reduced price 17€ / free > 12 years.
For the full day: full price 58€ / reduced price 34€ / free > 12 years.

There are no free or special rates for senior citizens or holders of professional cards (e.g. press, tourism, education, museum, ICOM).

Who is eligible for a reduced rate?

On presentation of proof of less than one year’s validity, or proof of current validity, accompanied by an ID, the following are eligible:
– residents of European Economic Area countries under 26 years of age
– French jobseekers

Senior citizens and holders of professional cards (press, tourism, teaching, museum, ICOM) are not entitled to free admission or special rates.

Who is eligible for free admission?

Please note that all visitors to the foundation must have a ticket, even infants and those who are granted free admission, including:
– Children under the age of 12, on presentation of an ID showing date of birth
– Residents of Barjac
*Specific dates are reserved for residents. Please contact us by e-mail at visits@eschaton-foundation.com for more information on this. To be granted free admission as a Barjac resident, we require proof of address that is dated within the last 6 months (water, electricity or tax bill; please note that cell phone bills are not accepted) and proof of ID at the entrance.

Are there special rates for people with disabilities?

People with disabilities are welcome at the foundation. They do not benefit from any special rates.
However, in order to provide the most suitable welcome possible, please contact the foundation, specifying the date and time of the visit purchased in advance.

As a resident of Barjac, can I access the site free of charge?

Only residents of the municipality of Barjac have access to a free “La Ribaute” tour, per person, during specific designated times and dates.
If you are a Barjac resident and would like to take advantage of this offer, please contact us by e-mail at visits@eschaton-foundation.com.
We require proof of address that is dated within the last 6 months (water, electricity or tax bill; please note that cell phone bills are not accepted) and proof of ID at the entrance.
You may also register for other tour formats or times that better suit you, or you may reserve a group with friends, in which case you’ll need to make a paid reservation.

What are the group rates?

The foundation welcomes groups of up to 18 people per guide.
Group rates are flat, so the rate remains the same regardless of whether your group has fewer than 18 people.
